Maple Ginger + Cinnamon Pear
Garnish Cinnamon Sticks
6 Pears Cored + Cut into Quarters
64 oz Apple Juice
1 cup Cranberries
½ cup Maple Ginger Siren Shrub
3 Cinnamon Sticks
2 tsp Ground Allspice
1 tsp Cloves
Combine pears, shrub, and cloves in a large stock pot and cover with apple juice So that the pears are fully surmerged. Bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce mixture to a simmer and cook for 1 hour uncovered.
After 1 hour mash the pears. Add cinnamon sticks and cranberries. Cover the pot and simmer for another hour.
Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve ( I did this twice) to remove the solids.
Serve warm with cinnamon stick.
